AI-generated background concepts can help explore a scene, but a usable production asset needs consistent perspective, lighting and art direction.
Separate concept from final asset
Use early outputs to discuss composition and mood. Do not assume a convincing still image is ready for camera movement, compositing or a longer sequence.
Check continuity
Compare adjoining shots, recurring objects and the direction of light. Keep references and approved versions so a later variation does not silently change the scene.
Measure the whole task
Include cleanup, revision and compositing in the comparison with a manual baseline. The quickest initial generation may create more work elsewhere in the pipeline.
